I have always been very fitness minded. At the age of 27, I was in the best shape of my life—I weighed 195 pounds and didn’t have a lot of excess body fat. Whenever I found myself gaining, I could drop the weight with exercise and diet alone.
But then, along came marriage and fatherhood and the lifestyle changes that go along with those special roles, plus I passed the 30-year mark. My energy level dropped to an all-time low, and I found myself carrying around quite a bit of extra weight. In December 2008, I weighed in at 250 pounds with a waist measurement of 45.5 inches; this was definitely the largest I had ever been in my life.
My father-in-law was having success with OsoLean™ powder, and after hearing that it helped maintain lean muscle while promoting fat loss, I was pumped to give it a try. I started using OsoLean powder, eating healthier and engaging in moderate exercise and over the first three months, I lost 32 pounds and 3.5 inches.†
Then, in March, the 2009 OsoLean Challenge was announced, and I was excited to sign up and participate. At the beginning of the Challenge, my weight was at 218 pounds, and my waist measurement was 41.5 inches. I decided to get back to weight training again and within a few weeks, I found I was easily able to increase the number of pounds I was lifting. I was really impressed with how OsoLean powder helped me gain strength by preserving my lean muscle at the same time I lost my unwanted fat.
Throughout the eight weeks of the Challenge, I lost on average 2 pounds a week, which I knew was a very healthy rate of fat loss. On May 16th, I weighed in at 201.5 pounds and had a waist measurement of 37.5 inches. That’s a loss of 16.5 pounds and 4 inches since the beginning of the Challenge.†
I continued taking OsoLean powder and following a good eating and exercising program even after the Challenge. You have to think of this as a lifestyle change, not just a quick fix. And at the end of June 2009, I weighed in at 199 pounds with a waist measurement of 37 inches. Altogether, with OsoLean powder, I’ve lost 51 pounds and 8.5 inches. And I feel great!†
†Individual results may vary. Participants in a preliminary open-label study conducted by Mannatech, Incorporated lost an average of 5.5 pounds and 2.5 inches over an 8-week period.
Mannatech’s OsoLean powder should be used in conjunction with the OsoLean Plan and proper exercise.
