Challenge Update – 2 Months Later: Lois Gresiuk
Lois can commiserate with the struggles in life that Marlene refers to, but like Marlene, is persevering by staying on track with her healthy eating and exercise habits.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve carved my initials in a pan of brownies,” jokes Lois. “I did hit a plateau for a few weeks but I’ve recently begun to lose inches again.” Lois has been doing a lot of yard work lately, which Ashly agrees can be just as good for you as a workout. “Hard labor with your hands in the dirt can be a good way to clear your head and still burn calories on those days when you just can’t seem to face the gym or your regular exercise routine,” says Ashly.
Like Kim, Lois has also begun jogging recently and is enjoying an activity she hasn’t really done since her youth. With 21 total inches lost, three of those since our last check-in with Lois, it’s clear that the exercise is paying off.*
